The Aberystwyth Wardens Dramatic Society Newsletter -October 2007

Welcome to another issue of the Wardens newsletter, keeping members up to date with society news and announcements.

1. AGM

Thanks to everyone who attended the annual general meeting on Thursday 20^th September. Members attended a general meeting to appoint a new committee. The following members were elected; Roy Leett  (Chairman), Amy Jones (Secretary), Jo Julier (committee) and Julie McNicholls (committee). Theresa Jones (Treasurer), Sonia Dobson, Jenny Ward and John Corfield (committee members) remain.

Since the formation of the new committee a brief meeting has been held to discuss the
future programme and activities for the Wardens. Unfortunately we will not be able to produce a show in the museum in November, but we will produce this show at a later date. Workshops are also being organised and news of those will be announced shortly.

2. The Wardens website

A new website for the Wardens is under development and should be on line soon. Through this we hope to post up-to-the-minute information, production news, photographs, member biographies and much more. We'll let you have the website address as soon as it is live!

3. Mother Goose

Pantomime season is well and truly upon us and rehearsals are under way. Principles are reminded once again that if they haven’t already done so, they should give their biographies and photographs to Julie McNicholls this week. If anyone has any problems with this or needs any help, please let her know because if we don’t receive them soon we will not be able to include your details in the programme.
